1000 ISLANDS 2008 JAZZ FESTIVAL

  Once again we are pleased to announce the production of the 1000 Islands Jazz Festival, held each year in Brockville, Ontario, on the St Lawrence river, from Thursday, May 1 to Saturday, May 10, 2008.

Renowned for the quality of the artists appearing, the excellence of the concert venues and the outstanding ticket value offered, this year’s Festival again lives up to its claim to being  the Best Small Jazz Festival in Canada.

Top Canadian jazz artists appearing include Oliver Jones, Carol Welsman, Bob DeAngelis, Reg Schwager, David Braid and others, together with exciting new emerging stars such as DK Ibomeka, Matt Brubeck, Sonia Johnson and many more.

The Main-Stage Series concerts are held at the Brockville Arts Centre, an excellent theatre with full concert stage facilities, and the Heritage Jazz Series concerts are presented in beautiful Ontario Heritage buildings within the city. Free concerts, Jazz Workshops and Jazz Tutorials are also presented in other downtown locations.

Single Ticket to Main Stage concert - $28.00

Single Ticket to Heritage Jazz concerts - $20.00
